Well guys...my wife set the bar pretty high. She shot this great 8 pointer Saturday morning and I shot a doe. This is her best buck ever. We have some game camera pictures of him and she decided to sit the stand he had been coming to. She radioed me at 7:30 and said..."I got him".

I have already taken both deer to the butcher. I'am afraid if I asked for biltong I would just get a funny look. That is unfortunate because I enjoyed eating it so much when I was in SA.

This is a very nice deer for south Florida. We have some of the worst soil in the country, therefore the deer dont get the nutrients needed to grow real large antlers. We have had a strict management program in place for about 6 years now. This is why we are seeing and killing bigger bucks.

Easy to solve the biltong probplem, just op over to SA we will make sure you have a good hunt and enough biltong. :D
