Africa's Bowhunter & Archer Magazine

Postby timspawn » Mon Oct 25, 2010 6:29 pm

I recently got some more copies of this fine magazine and I cant put them down. I read everything in them (excluding the Afrikaans portions)including the ads. You guys are very lucky to have such a quality magazine.

There are a lot of translation programs, German to English etc. Maybe there is one for Afrikaans to English.

You can always learn the language…

Translation is easy....
Just marry an afrikaans woman. She will read it, translate it, then wash and pack your hunting gear, and when you get home with the meat, she will cook it, treat you like the alpha male and like you are god's gift to woman.

One thing though, If you want to grow old with your willie attached.... don't ever (I mean ever, ever teach her to shoot and then pis_ her off)

In addition to the printed version, you can also buy an online PDF version each month at a much reduced price. The online version looks really great on a mobile reader like a laptop or an iPad. The only problem is if you are already a subscriber and get the magazine through the post and then want an online version there is no way to convert your subscription or to get the online version for free.

If you get the online version, you can translate the afrikaans ages using the translate function on internet explorer.
I know there's more to life than bowhunting but I'm stll trying to figure out what it is.
