i was wandering if anyone has hunted in mauritis?

what is there to hunt and what is the pricing like?

I know there's more to life than bowhunting but I'm stll trying to figure out what it is.

Ek weet nie of die Afrikaanse naam rooi hert is nie, maar hylle het die red deer soos op die foto (dieselfde dink ek as wat die manne in Nieu Zeeland jag).

Ek dink hulle het ook een of ander vorm van vark jag.

Die manne is meer ingerig vir die geweerjagters en hulle skiet glo uit sulke houttorings na wild wat aangejaag word.

Dis maar wat ek by ons plaaslike PSE handelaar gehoor het ... hy het een jaar so 'n jag gewen by PSE.

Ek was 'n klompie jare gelede op Mauritius en het by die Les Paradis hotel gebly. Die hotel en die Le Morne Brabant deel een ingang en 'n fantiastiese stuk kuslyn aan die heel suidelikste punt van Mauritius.

Ek onthou dat so 2 km na die uitgang van op die regterkant was daar groot hoe heining kampe. Ek het toe gevra wat dit is en was meegedeel dit is vir Red Deer wat hulle daar teel vir vlies vir die eiland en vir jag.

Ek het op daai stadium nie gejag nie so dit het my nie aangegaan nie maar ek is seker dat as jy vir enige van die bogenoemde twee hotelle 'n epos stuur en uitvra oor die jag net buite hulle perseel sal hulle beslis vir jou in aanraking kan sit met die nodige mense.

Die bok hier bo is n Rusa deer. Die artikel van daai jag (Frank Berbuir). Is in die April/Mei/Julie uitgawe van die African Hunting Gazette.
Ek glo wel dit is nie goed koop nie, en soos julle se, die bank bestuurder gaan nie gelukkig wees nie.

As ek die artikel lees kan jy indonesian wild boar, rusa en ander deer spesies ook jag.

Ek sal bietjie by n pel van my hoor wat alles wel daar beskikbaar is en terug kom na julle toe so gou as moontelik.

Moet wel lekker wees om in n lekker hotel te bly op die strand, jou dae te meng tussen jag, diep see visvang en scuba! Wat meer kan n man vir vra??
